Senior Director of Information Technology
Ryan Koch is the Senior Director of Information Technology at Child Care Aware of America, bringing 14 years of experience and a proven track record of delivering impactful technology solutions. His career includes 7-plus years partnering with federal government and non-profit organizations.
During his 6 years as a public sector consultant partnered with U.S. Transportation Command, Ryan culminated his tenure by leading an engineering practice of 30, modernizing the Defense Personal Property Program. He successfully guided the practice through the development and launch of a key application, ensuring a seamless transition to a new contractor.
Ryan’s background also includes work in cybersecurity, wellness, and insurance, as well as experience in state and local politics. Following his management of a 2014 campaign for the Ohio General Assembly, he ran for office to join the same body in 2016 and subsequently lobbied successfully for K-12 computer science education reform in the state.
He holds a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification, a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University, and a master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
